Walls separating the restaurant from the bar in the Crowne Plaza Resort, Anaheim CA, are faux-finished with a textured umber glaze to coordinate with existing wallcoverings. Faux-stone mouldings top the walls.

A 3-color blended finish climbs up the stairwell and warms all the walls in this 20-foot-high living/dining room.

Reactive glazes transform this wood and drywall range hood into stone while hand-painted tiles frame the owner’s pot-filling faucet.

Columns are finished to match the owner’s rich brown, heavily-veined existing marble.
